Challenge
A one-off website ages quickly. Every new page invents its own layout, and within a year the brand no longer looks like one brand.
The work had to produce a system that people could build on later without a designer in the room for every addition.
Approach
01
Define the primitives
Type scale, spacing, colour, and radius were set first, so every component inherits the same decisions instead of re-deciding them.
02
Component-led design
Pages were assembled from a defined set of sections and cards, which keeps rhythm consistent and makes new pages fast to produce.
03
Content patterns
Each section has a clear job and a defined content shape, so copy fits the design rather than the design bending around copy.
04
Design and development in one loop
The system was built as it was designed, so what was specified is what ships — including states, responsive behaviour, and motion.
Delivered
- Digital brand system foundations
- Component and section library
- Page templates assembled from the system
- Interface states and motion behaviour
- Front-end development and responsive implementation
Outcome
Ventrevo has a documented digital brand system: primitives, components, sections, states, and motion behaviour defined once and reused.
The live site at ventrevo.com is assembled from that system, so new pages can be produced without a designer specifying each one from scratch.
